Stafford Family Counseling (SFC) is an established and respected state licensed outpatient psychological practice that has strong working relationships with many medical practices, hospitals, schools and family-oriented government agencies.

We offer a full range of individual and group outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Here at SFC we treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns including but not limited to:

In addition, SFC offers state licensed specialty programs in the following areas:

	Virginia Support Services, P.C. (In-Home Life Skills Training)
	Virginia Home Based Counseling, P.C. (Intensive In-Home Counseling)

At SFC, clinicians are licensed by the state and specialize in the clinical area in which they practice. In addition SFC matches patients with clinicians by taking into account their specific needs and ages. Should your treatment require medication management, your clinician can offer a referral within the practice to a well-respected psychiatrist. Finally, our office personnel are friendly and competent in the area of insurance inquiries and billings. This allows you to focus on your treatment, as opposed to the hassles and confusion of insurance matters.

Emotional problems and mental illness are common and very real. Similar to physical illness, if appropriate treatment is not received, your condition could remain and possibly get worse with time.
